This journey to Machu Picchu is an invitation to the past glory of the Incan Empire. Thousands of stone steps, 600 terraces fields and the multiple days of trek at high altitude sounded like an attractive challenge. Perched on the eastern slopes of the Vilcanota mountain range in the Andes Mountains, this exclusive tour to the ancient Inca city promise to be an amazing journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Day 01 : Arrive in Cuzco
Acclimatisation day in Cuzco

Day 02 : Cuzco to Piscacucho
We will leave Cuzco and head for Piscacucho where we meet our porters. The journey follows parallel to the Urubamba River and we trek towards the town of Miskay.

Day 03 : Trek to Pacaymayo
We start the day by ascending to Llulluchapampa through a forest containing myriad trees native to the Andes. We reach the starting point of the Inca Trail at Huarmi Huañusca (4,200 m).

Day 04 : Trek to Phuyupatamarca
We wake up early to get the opportunity to see one of the most spectacular sunrises in the Andes, and a 360° view of the surrounding mountain ranges.
The day continues to some of the most important archaeological sites and reach to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Day 05 : Trek to Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes
The day’s trekking will be filled with archaeological wonders, including Intipata, an ancient agricultural centre, and Huyñay Huayna, arguably the most important site on the trek.
We will get incredible views of the Machu Picchu site before descending to the town of Aguas Calientes for dinner and some rest.

Day 06 : Transfer back to Cuzco
Today we reach the site of Machu Picchu followed by a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will enjoy some free time to explore the ruins. In the afternoon, we take a bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco.

Day 07 : Transfer to the airport
On your final day in Peru, we will head back to the airport and catch your International flight.
